Last November I said I had submitted an article to the Journal of One-Name Studies entitled New Approaches to Y-DNA Testing in the Warburton One Name Study. The article was published in the April-June Issue (Vol 13 Issue 2). A link to it can be found to the text of the submitted article on the DNA Project page.
Now I am working to follow the strategy by further exploring the SNPs of the Lancashire and Cheshire Groups, and by employing the cheaper 18 marker STR test at YSEQ. A recent use of this found a probable match with a previous unmatched test result. I am now trying to verify this, initially by genealogical research.
