John Warburton of Utah
John Warburton joined the Church of Latter Day Saints and emigrated to Utah. He lost his wife Betty to illness whilst sailing from Yorkshire to Liverpool where he and his son Edward sailed on the Independence to New York arriving in February 1856. They travelled to Iowa where they joined the Ellsworth Handcart Company for the journey to Utah.

Selina was a niece of Henry Hulme Warburton. She married a doctor, Frank Parry but died without issue. Photo was provided by Tony Parry who is descended from Frank and his second wife.
Dr John Warburton
Dr John Warburton of Betley, Staffs was the father of Henry Hulme Warburton. He was sued in 1819 for praising as an apothecary without a license.Dr John Warburton was father of Henry Hulme Warburton, and several other doctors.
Loan promissory notes of 72.30 and 480 US dollars in 1888 and 1890.
The loans were from Henry Hulme Warburton to his brother James P Warburton who was in San Francisco at this time and returned to England with his wife and son in July 1890.
Provided by David Hartland, great grandson of James who believes neither of the loans were ever repaid to Henry !
