Notes for Samuel Warburton
This Tree uses as its starting point a tree placed on Ancestry by Michael Wood, which in turn ties in with a number of entries on Family Search which identify Samuel as the son of James Warburton of Turton, born 1789. However the burial records at Walmsley Unitarian Chapel show that Samuel the son of James in fact died in 1814 and shares his father’s grave.
This Samuel's parentage is therefore, as yet, unknown. His death certificate gives his age at death as 52 giving a birth in 1790/1.
This tree includes Samuel and his descendants, who have no connection to Turton. The earlier generations are now in the Turton Family.
I have added information provided by Beryl Monaghan, and the results of my own research using on-line sources such as Family Search, Lancashire Parishes On-line, and Censuses.
