Golfers Addendum

Following on from yesterday’s Post I looked up how William Warburton faired in the 1905 Open at St Andrews. He shot 94 and 90 and missed the cut by 12 shots. The cut was set at 14 shots over the 2 round leader who shot 158 for the 2 rounds. The winner was James Baird who shot 318 over 4 rounds and won by 5 shots. It was obviously a different game in those days.
